Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Point Zero AI LLC ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the TripSignal mobile application ("TripSignal", "the App") and the TripSignal pages on pointzeroai.com/tripsignal ("the Site"). We designed TripSignal to be privacy-first: most of what you put into the App stays on your device.
Plain English: Your watchlist lives on your phone. We don't collect your name, your health history, or your travel itinerary on our servers. We don't sell or share your information. If you join the launch waitlist on our website, we only use your email to tell you when the App is available.
The current TripSignal app does not include third-party analytics, advertising tracking, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs.
1. Information stored on your device
When you use TripSignal, the following information may be stored locally on your device — not on our servers:
- Saved places (your home area, loved-one locations, trip cities)
- Saved trips and their dates
- Diseases you have chosen to watch
- Notification and display preferences
- App settings and recent-view history
This data is used by the App on your device to assemble your personal watchlist and your daily brief. Deleting the App removes this data from your device.
2. Information we receive on our servers
We currently collect and store the following limited information on our systems:
- Waitlist email address. If you submit your email on the Site to be notified at launch, we store that email so we can send you a launch notification. The email is held in our email systems (currently Resend and GoHighLevel, operated by Point Zero AI LLC).
- Support correspondence. If you email support@pointzeroai.com, we receive and retain your message for the purpose of replying to you.
- Standard web logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider may record routine request information (IP address, browser type, page requested, timestamp) for operational and security purposes.
We do not request, collect, or store your name, date of birth, government identifiers, financial information, or health records.
3. Health signals and official sources
TripSignal organizes and displays health signals that originate from third-party official public-health sources, including (but not limited to) the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), and U.S. state and local health departments. Source pages may open in your device's default browser or in an in-app browser view; once you open an external source, that source's own privacy practices apply.
4. Analytics, advertising, and tracking
The current TripSignal app does not include:
- Third-party analytics SDKs;
- Third-party crash-reporting SDKs;
- Advertising SDKs of any kind;
- Tracking that follows you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell device data, and we do not run targeted advertising inside the App. If we add any analytics or crash-reporting tools in a future release to improve App reliability, we will update this Privacy Policy and reflect those choices in the App Store privacy disclosures before they become active.
5. Apple frameworks the App uses
TripSignal uses standard first-party Apple frameworks to deliver core functionality. These are not third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs:
- StoreKit — to check purchase status and process the optional in-app purchase through the App Store.
- URLSession — to fetch official public-health source feeds over standard HTTPS.
- MapKit — to display map views inside the App.
Your saved trips, places, disease watches, notes, preferences, and notification settings are stored locally on your device, unless future sync or account features are added — in which case we will update this Privacy Policy and clearly disclose them in the App and on the App Store before they become active.
6. Notifications
TripSignal may request permission to send you notifications related to your saved watches. You can grant or revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings. We do not use notifications for advertising or unrelated marketing.
7. Children
TripSignal is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@pointzeroai.com and we will delete it.
8. Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only:
- With service providers that operate our email and hosting infrastructure under contract, solely to deliver our service to you;
- If required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of any person.
9. Your choices and how to delete your data
- App data: You can clear App data by removing items from within the App, or remove all App data by deleting the App from your device.
- Waitlist email: Email support@pointzeroai.com with the subject line "Remove from TripSignal waitlist" and we will delete your email from our launch list within 30 days.
- Support correspondence: You can ask us to delete your prior support emails by writing to the same address.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International users
Point Zero AI LLC is based in the United States. If you use TripSignal from outside the U.S., you understand that any information you choose to send us will be processed in the United States.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice in the App or on the Site.
